Rap Meets Recovery

   The message behind the music

Constant Thoughts

Constant Thoughts is a composition of raw emotion that comes straight from the heart. The songs talks about the struggles i have had to deal with through out my life from a young age to the present day. The constant thoughts of a struggling addict, the daily battles that we over come. How recovery has saved my life. Its a deep dive into my life in addiction, my battles with depression and anxiety. This song is my first release and Im hoping to send a powerful message that can help people find the inspiration within themselves to seek help, restore hope and remember that they are never walking alone.

Darkside

With this song i came to make a statement. Recovery belongs in rap music and their is a message to be delivered.

- Fuck Addiction

We all know that there is a darkside to addiction and with that comes alot of challenges. Guilt, shame, fear, pain and the stigma around our addictions can make our lives feel completely unmanageable at times. With Darkside I try to deliver a message of what it used to be like for me living a life in active addiction. Mad at the world, drugs and alcohol were my solution. This song explores a bit of my past, some of the things i did and what it felt like while i was lost in addiction.

CHANGES

Changes is a song much different from my first two releases. With a feel good summer vibe, Changes brings a message of what its felt like for me going through the changes i have along my journey.

The things that i have attained yet lost, the feelings that accompany lost relationships, family and friends. A glance at how addiction can trick you into remembering the good times over the bad. I revisit the glory days of my addiction when I was just starting, thinking i didn't have a problem and how quickly just having fun spiraled into a very dark vicious cycle that carried on for many more years of my life

Some Say

"Some Say" is a raw and reflective hip-hop track that dives deep into themes of growth, grief, and change. The song tells the story of how the places we come from—and the people we lose—shape who we become. Born out of personal recovery and the journey to sobriety, this track touches on the pain of losing friends, the shifting landscape of a hometown that no longer feels the same, and the hard-earned clarity that comes with healing.

With its emotional storytelling, soulful vocals, and hard-hitting bars, "Some Say" captures the bittersweet reality of moving forward while holding the past close. It’s more than a song—it’s a reflection of survival, transformation, and the roads that made you.

Young Age

"Young Age" is a gritty, bass-driven hip-hop track that takes listeners deep into the mind of DBint during his early years—where anger, ego, and addiction ruled. Raw and unfiltered, the lyrics expose the internal battles of a young man caught in the chaos of active addiction, speaking from a place of pain, pride, and survival.

-Told from the perspective of someone who's lived it, "Young Age" isn’t just a reflection—it's a transformation. The track shifts from the reckless mindset of the past into a message of clarity, sobriety, and growth. With haunting melodies layered over hard-hitting bass, DBint gives a voice to the addict’s mind and the strength it takes to change.

This is more than a song—it’s a confession, a warning, and a victory all in one.
